Visual Editor in WP 2.1 isn’t working

    I upgraded from WP 2.0.x to 2.1 this night. I followed the instruction in the manual.
    After upgrad, the visual editor isn’t working. It’s loke like that . Only the pure HTML editor is working.
    I tried to upload again the WP files (could be a file problem) but the result was the same.
    Someone know what is happening? I tried to find a option to turn on the visual editor but I could not find it.
    I can’t do news posts in my blog since that.

    I forgot to say, I’m using Firefox version 2.0.

    Do you have any ad-blockers or software which would disable or block the javascript?

    @jcraddock – log in, go to Users -> Your Profile.
    Check that top box.

    close all tabs and clear the cache. the visual editor works like a charm with ff 2.0. these problems mostly turn out to be caching issues, which means that your browser does not download all the new files you just upgraded (mainly the .js files).

    I should do this before: I tried on Konqueror.
    Yeah, the editor is working now. We got an [Ressoved] here.
    I didn’t cleared the cache yet. I don’t want to lose my things.

    Just a sugestion.
    I don’t know if this already is there, but a instruction of this case in the upgrade manual was good.
    Like:
    “Reset your web browser cache.”

    Not so fast.
    I realized now. In the Konqueror, just the simple html editor is working in Firefox, after I clear cache, history and cookies, is all the samething. Just like the picture.
    I used to write in my blog using this version of FF, 2.0.
    Strange.
    What is happening?

    I know what is. Its a plugin that is messing up the editor.
    The Adsense Deluxe extension.
    I will report the author right now.
