# Visual editor hides somewhere

 * Hi there,
    today I was trying to install on my website [http://www.kiddieschool.es](http://www.kiddieschool.es)
   a autoptimazer plugin. [https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/)
 *  When I installed it, I use it and apparently my website starts to crash in some
   parts (like slideshows).
 * So i dediced to turn it off and uninstall it.
 * But know, when i try to modify or add a new page, my visual editor wont work.
   The button is there, but nothin happens when I click on it.

 * I tried to unistall Tiny MCE Advanced and reinstall it. I reinstalled wordpress
   version. Changed the template to another. Checked the check box in my profile
   if it was the problem (nothing).
 * Also I checked if in wp-config.php was the line: _**define( ‘CONCATENATE\_SCRIPTS’,
   false );**_
 * Im using lastest version of wordpress, 4.3.1 and my theme is Peekaboo.
 * Does anyone know what i can do to restore the visual editor??
 * Maybe you know some CSS or js file that is the insue or something?
 * In firefox console, when i click on “visual” box, appears this js error:

 * Hi there,
 * Like allways just after 6 hours trying to find the error, after posting for help,
   I finally I found the error.
 * It was qtranslator plugin. I think that autoptimizer changed some js and css 
   files and cause the errors. They were modified, I dont know how the plugin cause
   the insue. I uninstalled it and installed qtranslator X (another plugin). And
   problem solved.

 * glad you got it solved surfero66, but AO **never** changes any or the original
   JS or CSS and is never active on the wp-admin pages either.
