# Visual Editor Flickering and Error

 * When I try to edit a new post (or existing post) the visual editor box start 
   flickering and becomes unusable. After a few clicks on one of my blocks the editor
   crashes and I receive this error:

 * I have tried this one several different browsers, and different combinations 
   of disabling themes, plugins, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

   We hope you are now
   using the latest version of WordPress (7.0). Does this issue occur when all plugins
   are disabled and the theme is set to the default 2025?
 * Have you tried disabling the browser extensions? Does the same issue occur with
   all Post Types, such as Pages or a custom post type?
 * Also, are there any additional errors in the browser’s Developer Console or WordPress

 * Thank you for the reply. It was an outdated “pro” version of my theme that was
   still activated.

 * You are welcome. Most likely, it will be due to a compatibility issue with the
   outdated theme. Can you please upgrade to the latest version of the theme after**
   _a full site backup_** and confirm whether the bug exists? If the problem remains,
   contact your theme support.
