I don’t have a visual editor plugin, I have only 4 plug ins active, and I’ve updated each of them prior to posting. Where would I update the ‘visual editor plug in’?

Try disabling all plugins and then activate one by one. This will let you know which plugin is conflicting with your visual editor.
If disabling all plugin does not help then When page loads can you please open your browser console to check if you are getting any JavaScript error.

After deactivating and reactivating the plug ins, no change, so in console, I have this javascript error:

I mean disable all plugin and then see if your Visual editor works.

I see several javascript errors in the console, including one that is a 404 for a javascript, and one that is a possible conflict with jQueryMigrate.
