  • Visual editor buttons missing and I have to select the text to see the content.

    I cannot see the menu buttons when I am in the page and post sections.. In order to see the text in the writing pane, I have to select the text. I cannot either to insert a picture in the text..!!

    I am using this theme:

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    In the table wp_options, under the option_name column (field) find the active_plugins row.
    Change the option_value field to: a:0:{}

    where can I find these options
