# Visual Editor

 * Hey Folks…
 * Okay, I have the same problem that apparently a lot of folks are having here 
   with their visual editor. I have tried EVERY FIX that was recommended, to no 
   avail. I talked with my server admin.. they “say” it is not on their end with
   compression / gzip – but that is what they “say”. I have no choice but to take
   their word for it.
 * Someone suggested commenting out a line in the wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_gzip.
   php file, but I do not have that file to do so with.
 * I am only running the profiles that came with the download.. no addons or anything.
 * Any help with is would be appreciate. I really like WP, but if I can’t get this
   resolved, I am going to have to go with something else.

 * You need to clear your cookies/cache (might take more than once) and be patient
   it will show up (Make sure you have the visual editor checked in “Users”)
 * I fought this issue and fought it… finally I used a plugin called [tinyMCE advanced](http://www.laptoptips.ca/projects/tinymce-advanced/)
   
   and I haven’t had an issue since.

 * Hey Bushwack..
 * I cleared the cache.. multiple times, tried it in IE and Firefox, does nothing
   at all. I have reloaded the script multiple times and almost immediately it does
   the same thing. Someone mentioned compression issues, but that is not the case
   either as far as we can tell. I will try you plugin and see what happens. As 
   of now, can’t hurt.. thanks for your help.. anybody else got any ideas???????
