    Hello,

    I am having a problem with visual editor.

    When I attempt to add a bulleted list, it does not appear in the editor. It simply appears as straight text, no indent.

    However, when previewing the live site, the bullets do appear.

    It’s very difficult to work in the editor without this WYSIWYG feature, plus I have clients that will need to perform updates.

    Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

    What plugins do you have active?
    It could well be one of those doing this.
    Also, does this happen in another browser?

    Hello Mark and thanks for the reply.

    I’ve tried disabling plugins and nothing seems to help. I’m sure that the problem is related to the template I have purchased (from Themeforest) and I have sent a support question to it’s developer also – but have not received a reply as of yet.

    I do not want to switch templates at this point since the design has been approved by my client (before discovering this glitch).

    I’ve also noticed that within the visual editor display, there is absolutely no padding within the content area. Obviously a related problem, and there are probably a few more that I just haven’t discovered yet.

    Any ideas? Can you think of any way I can impact the bullet display, making it a normal WYSIWYG function in the visual editor?

    Without knowing what the theme is doing I won’t know how to help, sorry.

    Have you checked for the theme name and ‘bullet list’ in a search engine to see if others have had this issue?
