 * Hi,
I have recently fall into a problem i can’t find a solution of fixing visual
editor. I can see what have been written only in text editor and not in visual
editor that has been blank. Also when i try to put additional text from visual
editor to page or post i can do that through text editor and not from visual
   editor. Why this is happened?

 * This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins,
and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable
them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

 * Did you also disable all plugins? If so and if that didn’t help, try disabling
all browser extensions you might have installed.

 * When i installed my theme i am using until now (at least 1 year) i hadn’t installed
any extensions for my browser. I am using Firefox browser. The problem came up
during normal functionality of the site. I tried some links writing of how you
can fix blank visual editor in wordpress but it didn’t do anything…

 * Just a thought — in the visual tab, what do you see if you click in there and
   do CTRL-A (select all)?

 * OK, then we know it’s not a white-on-white issue. Try reinstalling WP — got to
Updates and click the button to reinstall.

 * Can you try a different browser to see if it works? And just to see if it’s not
an issue with your system, can you try to login from somewhere else?
 * You can get a free trial here to try from a different system: [http://browserstack.com/](http://browserstack.com/)

 * I had the same issue [@montecomis](https://wordpress.org/support/users/montecomis/)
and so I deactivated all my plug-ins. The issue resolved. So I started activating
each plug-in one by one testing my visual editor after activating each one. The
issue resurfaced when I re-activated the Contact Form Maker plug-in. So I deactivated
it again. the problem resolved. I continued on activating my other plug-ins one
by one and none of the other plug-ins posed an issue. So, I installed Contact
Form 7 instead and deleted the Contact Form Maker plug-in. My site is all better
   again!

 * I found this same issue today with a client’s website; when creating a new post
or editing an existing one, any text entered into the ‘Visual’ tab of the post
editor would not appear in the ‘Text’ tab – nor would it appear when the post
   was previewed or published.
 * I went through and deactivating all the site’s plugins – and the issue was solved.
So I went through each plugin reactivating them one-by-one until the problem
resurfaced. (You could do this the other way around – deactivating plugins until
the problem is fixed. Probably way less invasive. Oh well. #YOLO.)
 * The problem resurfaced when I reactivated the **Yoast SEO** plugin. Having not
spoken to the client in depth yet I’m not sure when they last updated their installation
of the plugin – but if you’re running this plugin too, try deactivating it and
seeing if your problem is still there. This is odd, though – as the developers
of the Yoast SEO plugin are usually quite ‘on it’ – and I run the plugin on several
other sites which haven’t had the same issue.
 * *NB. I noticed that when the problem was current – the mouse cursor in the visual
editor would start right at the top of the text field. This is odd behaviour,
as usually there is a noticeable line-break between the bottom of the WYSIWYG
editor and the first place you can actually enter text (even more noticeable
when compared to the cursor position when in ‘Text’ tab view).
