# Visual Composer Backend Editor Button

 * Hi,
 * Not a major bug of a showstopper, but I have noticed that when I set Visual Composer
   to only show on specific posts types in which Popup Maker is not one of them,
   the button for the Visual Composer backend edit button still appears. I prefer
   to have the button only show on the post types I specified.
 * Again not a big deal, but thought I would point it out 😉

   Not sure we can have it both ways. The problem is that popups are not a public
   post type. VC only shows public post types in the list that you see in your VC
   options. Because of this there is no way for us to enable it optionally, only
   by force using a filter to turn it on permanently.
 * I haven’t seen the latest version of VC but the last I checked there were no 
   relevant filters we could tap into to do this. I’ve never used it outside of 
   testing for compatibility so I don’t have access to the latest versions to keep
   testing.
 * PS The current solution was provided by a user who wanted it to work on VC and
   found a hackish way to do it. So if we can find a better way we are open to changing
   it.

 * No worries, like I say this is not a show stopper. Just something I noticed.
 * Is ‘popup’ the registered post type? This one does show up in VC’s list as to
   which post types to show the VC editor on.
