• When I create a blog post, I am very careful about spacing and placement of media I’ve inserted. I always size my pictures to medium and always center them.

I preview the post before scheduling it to be published to be sure it’s exactly the way I want it.

When I see this post in e-mail, it is nothing like my previewed post. My pictures are no longer centered and, in some posts, the images are huge. Also there’s a large amount of space between the bottom of the pictures and the next paragraph not shown in the preview.

The process seems pretty cut and dry to me, so I’m not sure how I can be causing this to occur. Can anyone hazard a guess as to why this is happening and if there is something I can do to be sure it doesn’t continue.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

email clients render html and css according to their own rules (usually pretty default rules) so if you’re using a theme to position things and space things out then the email client will likely strip out the content and format it according to it’s own rules.
