 * I just notices that when i have a text box open the visual and text tabs are 
   missing. i have tried reinstalling wordpress and some other things i found online
   and it hasn’t come back.

 * Please make sure that the Visual editor is not disabled under the user profile:
   [https://i.imgur.com/q8ZBxgx.png](https://i.imgur.com/q8ZBxgx.png)
    You can also
   check it at your end by deactivating rest of the plugins to make sure none of
   them are disabling it.
