Hi,
are you using something like CloudFlare in front of our website?
Best,
Jason
Then you need this:
https://www.wp-slimstat.com/downloads/firewall-fix/
Most of the times it works right away. In some particular situations, you’ll need to configure Cloudflare to make it work.
Best,
Jason
I downloaded the plugin but it wont activate. It was successfully installed.
Please note that the plugin is not “retroactive”, meaning that it will not show the originating IP for past page views.
Ok understood but im currently monitoring it and its still doing the same thing.I have nmultiple users online browsing.
In that case, your service provider will also need to enable mod_cloudflare or some other workaround to restore the right information:
https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/sections/200805497-Restoring-Visitor-IPs
Best,
Jason
I dont think im able to enable that or see no clear way how to.
This is the response i got.
On our servers, mod_cloudflare is substituted with mod_rpaf that automatically translates requests to show the actual IP of each visitor instead of the CloudFlare IP address. You do not have to do anything to activate it, as it is already running on the server by default.
I should also note that i am also using wprocket. I dont know if that will help.
We are going to add the ‘X-Forwarded-For’ header to the list of the ones inspected by the tracker. This should solve the problem. Please contact us via http://support.wp-slimstat.com if you would like to test this new feature in advance.
Happy New Year!
Jason
just sent an email. happy new year to you too
Any luck with the new update?
Sent another email. its been stable with the update, the ip’s no longer merge. There is a new issue though with weird looking IP’s.
