    Hi everyone
I know that different niches have differing visitor numbers but as a rule of thumb, how many visitors does a site need for advertising to become viable and for a site to generate income?

Number of visitors is just one variable in the equation. The quality of the visitors, the quality of the content, the ability to convert, and as you stated, the niche are some others.

Additionally, advertising isn’t the only stream in the revenue mix. You could earn income by posting guest articles on your site, writing guest articles on other sites, providing links, and using affiliates, just to name a few.

You can always start with something like AdSense to play around with. To earn a “viable” income, meaning a few dollars a day, usually takes an average of at least several hundred visitors daily.

You can do product reviews and put an affiliated link to that product.

I read a book, posted a review, used an amazon affiliate link to it. voila.

DO NOT over do it on the advertisement.
