    Did you change the local host URLs to your site/ domain URLs before exporting the site to your host?
    Can you post your site URL?

    Hi Krishna,
    Thank you for responding. I’m not sure if I did. My site URL is lovinglyhandmadecreations.com.

    Hi,
    I have installed and uninstalled everything 3 times. I am getting this error for my XAMPP installation:

    <?php
    if (!empty($_SERVER[‘HTTPS’]) && (‘on’ == $_SERVER[‘HTTPS’])) {
    $uri = ‘https://’;
    } else {
    $uri = ‘http://’;
    }
    $uri .= $_SERVER[‘HTTP_HOST’];
    header(‘Location: ‘.$uri.’/xampp/’);
    exit;
    ?>
    Something is wrong with the XAMPP installation 🙁

    Could this be the reason why my wordpress site is being redirected to XAMPP?

    How do I fix this?

    Please help. I’ve been at this for 3 days and getting so frustrated.

    Your URL gives this message (Coming Soon):
    If you’re the site owner, log in to launch this site.

    So, login and launch your site.

    Hi Krishna. Thank you. I was actually talking about internally. That is what everyone else will see, but if I try to set it up through my Dreamweaver using localhost access I will be redirected to the XAMPP folder. Also, if I log into my WordPress account and click my link to “Visit Site”, it will also redirect me to the XAMPP website. I asked at the XAMPP support forum and was told it would be a WordPress issue. I read where it happened to someone else and they had to change their index.php file. I just don’t understand how to do that.

    If you are talking about your hosted site, its database may still contain URLs referring to your XAMPP site. If so, check your database and replace such URLs.
