Without your system info or you personally telling us the version you are using, we could have never known. It was our mistake to wrongly assume that you were using the latest version, resulting in us being unable to reproduce the issue whatsoever from the start.
Our version numbers and changelog entries are publicly visible, in detail, on our website, and have been since day 1 more than six years ago. You can find them in the appropriately-named “Technical Details” section here: https://www.wprssaggregator.com/extension/excerpts-thumbnails/
