Plz help! Right after I updated to Virtue theme 2.5.5 I started getting errors on all my Woocommerce product category pages. Instead of showing all my listings it says this after the first product:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘__’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/momotseng/public_html/wp-content/themes/virtue/woocommerce/loop/rating.php on line 21

I could revert to an old backup I have, but I wouldn’t want to do that cuz I know you guys are always on top of these problems. I didn’t edit any files or update any other plugins, so I’m guessing it might just be some faulty code in the 2.5.5 patch?

Please help it’s rendered my e-commerce site useless with this error!

    Hi guys,

I have the same problem, I just upgraded to 2.5.5 version and I only see 1 product on each page 🙁 please help me, I don’t know how to solve this problem, nor how to downgrade to the older version.

    I really need your help!

    Hey,
Thanks reporting this. I just pushed out an update. You can download here:
    https://downloads.wordpress.org/theme/virtue.2.5.6.zip

To manually update activate a different theme (say twenty 15) and then delete the virtue theme (don’t worry theme options will not be lost). Then click “add new” on the themes page and upload the zip file from above ^

Let me know if you have first issues. Sorry about the hassle

Version 2.5.6 should be available to update to in a couple minute also if you want to wait instead of manually updating.

Great! Now it’s working fine. Thank you very much for your quick response.
