Virtue theme slow and update issues

    It all started when 4.0 (I think) slowed down my site http://rotemstudio.com.
    In another thread I explained i was having issues with updating the Virtue theme. I have already updated plugins.

    So in updating, i got as far as uploading the zip file but I get this message:
    The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

    Now what? Thanks!

    OK, got the theme uploaded via FTP.
    Still slow.
    I’ve update plugins, disabled newgen gallery (although I’d like to keep using it), installed W3 Total Cache, CloudFlare, etc.

    Will appreciate any advice!

    Your site seems to be in a coming soon mode? Can’t see if you have any errors if you do that?

    Thanks, reposting over there.
    I put on Coming Soon last night because there had been an article in the HuffPost about me and I didn’t want anyone coming to the site so see a site that didn’t come up at all!

    My site on Virtue is really slow (so is my WP 4.0 admin.)

    I’ve updated the theme, plugins, disabled newgen gallery (although I’d like to keep using it), have optimized images, installed W3 Total Cache, WP-Optimizer, CloudFlare, etc.

    But it’s still slow.

    Will appreciate any advice!
