    Hello!

If I use the more-Tag in my articles, it is ignored on the homepage of my website http://geonomic.at.
E.g. the article “Staatsschulden” has a more-tag on the homepage, you see more. If you change to the category http://www.geonomic.at/?cat=7 the more-tag works like it should. So I think, its the Virtue-Theme on the homepage, that it doesn’t work. Has anyone a solution?

    Thank you,
    Harti

  • Yes, the “latest posts” module on the home page limits the post excerpt to 34 words. You can use the excerpt box in the post to make those words different then the first 34 words of the post but you can’t use the more tag.

If you want to have your home page a blog page then you can make it the latest post page in your “reading” settings. Then in the theme options > home layout. Make the latest post module disabled and enable “page content”.

    Thank you – the excerpt-box works 🙂
