Hey guys,

I’m a WordPress beginner, so pls don’t be mad for my stupid questions:

1. I want my blog entries on the main page looking the same like on the demo version (4 posts, little picture, text next to it). I just have full width or list.

2. Which widget do I need that the “Recent posts” look like in the demo version? (With little pictures next to it).

Hey,
This tutorial will help you set up the home page, you just need set it as a page and add the latest posts module from the theme options home page settings.

As for the widget you want just choose the virtue recent posts widget and make sure all your posts have a featured image.

Hey hey,

thank you for your quick response and your great help!
I did the widgets, the main page looks much better as well.

Unfortunately I have one more question:
Now the main page looks like I wanted it to: Smaller picture, little descripton of the contect and icons. Unfortunately the text is underneath the picture, not next to it! How can I change this? If you want to I can send you my internet adress, so you can see what I mean!
