Virtual Link Creation Problem

    What part of the file controls the making of the virtual links?
    Because when ever it tries to make a virtual link it keeps asking me for FTP info.

    Can you elaborate on what you mean by a “virtual link”?

    I have permalinks set up to make the post url the title. When I make a new post and I go to put the post title in and it creats the link http://blogurl.com/post-link. But instead of the link it asked for FTP then after it is entered it is created

    It sounds like there’s something unusual in your database connection information. What is entered for the db host in wp-config.php?
