 * Been building a client site for the past 2 months, yesterday the Dashboard starting
   showing “Install the WooThemes Updater plugin to get updates for your WooThemes
   plugins.” I’m guessing the Plugins page dedicated to plugin installs and updates
   and the update icon at the top left, aren’t enough?
 * That DIV has a class of “updated fade” – in two days of logging in, nothing is‘
   fading’ and there is no obvious way to remove that msg.
 * If I’m not mistaken, WordPress (also a part of Automatic) forbids ANY plugin
   from persisting within that part of the dashboard, basically being a nag. Am
   I wrong, and if so, how do I remove this div without wasting time adding custom
   CSS for the dashboard?

 * Hi there,
 * The message Install the WooThemes Updater plugin to get updates for your WooThemes
   plugins.” is severely out of date as the WooThemes Updater has been retired for
   several years in place of the process outlined here: [https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-woocommerce-com-subscriptions/](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-woocommerce-com-subscriptions/)
 * What version of WooCommerce is installed on the site? Was there a previous older
   version installed? Also, are there older or outdated WooCommerce extensions on
   your site?
 * Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via
   WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.
   Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

 * Version 4.3.1
 * Disregard my complaint though – on a whim I deactivated/reactivated WC and that
   msg is gone. Not sure how or why it appeared, but I’ll report back if it reappears.
 * Thx.

 * Hi there,
 * That message may have been from a much older version of WooCommerce that was
   installed on the site. Regardless, we’re glad you were able to get it sorted.
   We’ll go ahead and close this out for you now.
