# Vimeo in wordpress

 * I’m trying to embed vimeo videos in my wordpress site.
 * Using the normal method works fine in all browsers except IE.
 * I consulted [this page](http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vimeo/) and did
   as it said using the shortcode but it doesn’t work and the shortcode just shows
   up as text.
 * How can I get it to work properly?
