As it’s now, when you pass your mouse over a title you get the title name.
I find it quite useless, especially because other widgets (last modified, etc.) don’t do the same.

Is it possible to have an option to show the views count in the title=”” parameter? So I can save some space hiding the views that now are close to the title.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @locksoft,

Well, you could customize the HTML output and include the views count in the title attribute using the {views} Content Tag:

FAQ: How can I use my own HTML markup with your plugin?

    Many thanks Hector.

I’ve seen that FAQ but didn’t understand much. 😛
Anyway, now I know it’s possible to do it, I’m going to study it well.

Many thanks for your great plugin and very quick support. 🙂

    Have a nice day.

Alright, there are a couple of examples included in that FAQ but if you have any questions regarding this don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thanks Hector.

The documentation is very clear, I’m not much into this kind of stuff but I was able to have an almost working HTML personalization:

    <li><a href="{url}" title="Visite: {views}">{text_title}</a></li>

The only problem is that in the page all views are 0 (zero).
The only other parameter that seems viable is {stats}, but I guess it will insert some HTML code as well (I guess).

Is there anything I’m doing wrong? 🙂

You’ll have to edit your question, the code you posted got all messed up. Use the code button to wrap your code.

Edit: ah, you already fixed it, thanks!

I’m not near a computer right now though, I’ll have a look once I am and get back to you as soon as possible.

    Yes, sorry, already corrected. 😛

Ok, many thanks. No hurry. 🙂

    Maybe I’ve found the issue.

I needed to activate the “Display views” option in the widget settings, or else (I guess, I’m not so good in checking code) it’s not valorized in class-wordpress-popular-posts-output.php.

With the option enabled everything works as intended.

Many thanks Hector, your help was really appreciated.

    Have a nice day.
