Viewport slider stopped working?

I used the Viewport theme on this website, http://iconicsystemsinc.com/, and the slider was working just fine a while ago, and now, when I added some conditional tags to the page.php page, now the slider appears to have stopped working. Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong? I simply do not want the slider image appear on the pages, but they can still appear on the posts. Can anyone help?

When I try to click the little arrows on the side of the first post image, instead of it taking me to the next post image, it just displays a “#” symbol after the url in the address bar. What did I do? I tried removing the conditional php tags, but that didn’t fix the problem, so I don’t know what happened! Can anyone please help?

Apparently it is because I installed a plugin? 🙁 Does that mean I cannot use any plugins with this theme? Does anyone have any experience with this theme?
