Hi. Quick question.

I have created a folder and uploaded some images to it. I noticed when I try to view the images from the WP media menu I get a 404.

However, I can view them in your plugin media menu.

Just wondering if this how it is supposed to be or if I have a conflict somewhere.

What is the link that is 404? When in Media Library Folders clicking on an image goes to the media library’s Edit Media page (http://example.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1111&action=edit).

When viewing the Media page, clicking on an image goes to the Attachment details page (http://example.com/wp-admin/upload.php?item=1111).

You could try deactivating your plugins to see if there is one plugin changing the link.

The “view” link that is a 404, and this is from the standard wp media panel, oddly goes to “example.com/attachment-page/.” These are ONLY for images uploaded to a custom folder.

However, if I go to your media library panel, and click the thumbs it links something like (http://example.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1111&action=edit) in your example.

I was just wondering if this is by design? Or a conflict?

As far as I know, Media Library Folders does not modify the links for images in the WP media library.
