View uploaded files with double period (..) in file name?

    I get a 404 error when I try to view an original image that I uploaded that ends with “..jpg”. The thumbnails work fine and I can download the image with ftp but it will not display in the browser. I’m not sure if this is a problem due to apache or maybe the wordpress htaccess file. Does anyone have any ideas?
