    When I go to a blog site (or any web page) I can view the page source (or generated source) in my browser, and see where various ‘div ids’ and ‘class’ descriptions begin and end; and also the
    ul’s and li info – but no ‘style.css’ info shows up in the page source.

    Since the browser is properly formatting the page, it must know the ‘css’ info; so, is there anyway for me to examine the style.css settings on my browser as well?

    Yes, you should be able to view the style.css. Look at the header of the page source for a line that looks something like this:

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="http://blogname.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/theme/style.css" />

    Then paste the URL into your browser.

    Oh, and if you’re on a Mac, you can also use Xyle scope to browse the web and view the source and css simultaneously.

    Alternatively you can install the “Developer Toolbar” with many more options and features:
    Developer Toolbar for IE6/7
    WebDeveloper for FF 1.0-2.0.0*

    Thanks for the info.
    I tried WebDeveloper for FF — worked like a charm!!
    Appreciate the help…
