    I am using twenty-eleven and when looking at Widgets only the three Footer sidebars are shown. There is a Main Sidebar and a showcase sidebar but how do I view them?
    Also none of the sidebars are displayed on any pages.

    On another issue. I have created a menu with sub menus which virtually takes care of all my content. My point is these are all pages so I do not have/need posts.

    Thanks for letting me ask questions.

    Without seeing your site, it is very difficult to visualize your question.

    What I can say is that sidebars only show up on your pages if they are active (so if there are currently widgets in them).

    If you go to /wp-admin/ -> Appearance -> Widgets, you can check which widgets are currently allocated to those specific sidebars.

    It is fine if you don’t need posts. Just don’t use them and delete the default Hello World post.

    the Showcase sidebar will only show when you use the Page Template: Showcase for any static page;

    the Main sidebar will show on index pages like the posts page or archives.

    there is also another Page Template to show a sidebar on static pages.
