• Hi,

When adding a new faq and publishing it, it is possible to view the new faq.
    The permalink generated is domain.ext/faq/faq-slug.

Is it possible to change the category part? I added the category under post categories, which got the link working, but I would like to be able to use another slug for ‘faq’.

    Hi Michael,

Yes, you can view the FAQ by clicking on Preview or View button after creating the FAQ.

Regarding the slugs, you can’t change them without code modifications. However, we are going to consider your question as a suggestion and will try to add an option in a future update which should allow you to change the slugs via the Settings page.

    Thanks

    Hi Usman,

Thanks for the response. Can you point me out to where the code is? I scrolled through the plugin, but it didn’t become clear to me.
I guess it should be possible to add a bit of code in functions.php to get this done for now.

I appreciate it that you consider this a suggestion for a settings option.

    Hi Michael,

You can find the Post Type slug code in wp-content → plugins → quick-and-easy-faqs → includes → class-faqs-post-type.php file.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, kindly let me know.

    Thanks
