Videos on precached or ajax content

Hello there dear YT-Lyte support!
I use your plugin on a tribe-events powered page. When a user klicks “next events” on the event-archive page, those events are loaded via ajax. It seems like the video-links are then not loaded via YT-Lite.
As I use W3total cache, a issue with precache was also possible.
Do you have any idea what I could do to solve this?

When you click “next events”, are the video’s loaded as normal YouTube embeds or so you see an empty placeholder but no background-image/ player GUI?

Hello there, tanks for your fast replay!
Jupp, those videos are being loaded as normal YouTube videos as there is
– no byline beneath the video
– right klick gives me YT context menu
– a google YT-cookie
Imho this is connected to ajax. If you go direct to
https://www.docks-prinzenbar.de/events/?tribe-bar-date=2019-10-01, YT lyte works fine.
But if you visit
https://www.docks-prinzenbar.de/events/ and you click on the next events links, those videos are bypassed.

In that case the issue is that the additional events are not passed through WordPress’ the_content filter, so LYTE cannot act on those.

Maybe check with Tribe there is another filter that can be hooked into, if so I can provide you with a couple of lines of “glue” to have LYTE hook into that?

In fact I have not been very successful. The support team gave me a link their documentation: “you may want to take a look at our Themer’s Guide, to show you where to find available filters”.

Could you have a look at the documentation and tell me if that would help with our problem? Im sorry I did not get more information on this until now.

There is also a support-searchengine. It gave me some filters:

looked around a bit more, but afraid I didn’t find a filter that allows content loaded through “next events” to being alter. if this is important to you then you’ll have to insist some more at tribe’s 😉

well, good they try, but again this does not feature a filter that can be used to change the output of the “next events” AJAX call I’m afraid ..
