Videos Not Posting

Hi,

I’m trying to add videos as the featured media of my posts. When I put in the URL and save it, nothing happens. When I put a random featured image, only that image shows up, no the video. I’ve gone through my media sections and have tried every option to no avail. Is something with my theme? I’m I doing something wrong?

Would love your help.
