Videos getting resized improperly in Swell Theme

    Hi all. Am using the Swell template. My videos are hosted on Vimeo. The sizes on Vimeo are showing correctly, but when I paste the “share” link into my theme page, the videos are resized and way too large. The 1×1 video in the link above, between the two 16x9s, is supposed to only be 500×500 pixels, but is getting scaled up way too large, regardless of it’s native size.

    If I try the embed code, it never works. No video shows up at all and anything else that was there, disappears. I know you can adjust the video size with the embed code, but it simply won’t show up in this theme at all. I seem to be stuck with the share link only, but even then, that video should show 500×500, not scaled up like that. Thanks in advance for any insight.

    Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://organicthemes.com/support/

    Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    My guess is that it’s Swell-related, but I could be wrong in my deconstruction of the problem. I have gone there as well, but was thinking that it either might be an issue inherent to WordPress and was also thinking that this reaches more eyeballs generally, someone else may have come across this issue in their day to day and might be able to recommend a solution.
