• Hi there,

I installed the plugin on this website: http://face3media.com/beta/g2/home-video-color/
    To test.

The video works fine in Firefox (version 49.0.2), but in both Chrome and Safari it is stuck in the first frame.

Looking around I found out that it seems Chrome has a bug if the webm file isn’t the first one in the list, and I noticed the plugin loads the mp4 first. I had both video version up, removed the mp4, but still no luck.

Is there anything else as far as browser compatibility that I should be looking at?

Also, just out of curiosity, if the order the files are loaded is known to cause problems on Chrome, wouldn’t it be a good idea to change the order the plugin loads them?

    Thanks for any insight.

    Some more findings here.

I copied and pasted the generated code into a html page, and replicated the output code from the video plugin. The hard coded video then plays in Chrome and Safari, but still the one by the plugin is stuck in the first frame, the exact same code as far as the <video> tag goes.

Are there any compatibility issues of the plugin with Visual composer on Chrome?

    Hi flavioface,

Are you still experiencing this issue?

There are no known compatibility issues with Visual Composer and all of the machines I’ve tested on, Video Background seems to be working fine on all major browsers.
