Video won’t load in preview & when published

    Hey,

    I had embedded video into some of my stories. Small clips on a loop. They were working okay, but now when I go to preview the stories, or publish, I get an error saying video failed to load. They work within the editor but not elsewhere.

    Any help appreciated. The only thing I can think that has changed is the update to 1.1.0.

    @swissspidy Thanks for the reply. The site (and stories) I’m working on were closed off, but now I’ve opened it up. Hopefully you can see this link. As you can see, videos aren’t loading. http://thunk.co/web-stories/discovering-customer-needs-for-a-3d-mapping-app/ – the videos are on pages 1, 3, 5 and 6.

    We’ve identified an issue with videos that is now resolved in the 1.1.1 version we’ve just released. Could you update the plugin and let us know if the videos now work?

    On a related note, I’d recommend setting up SSL/HTTPS for your site, to improve the experience for readers consuming Web Stories on your site or via the AMP cache.

    @swissspidy Many thanks. I’ve been offline for a few days so just picking this up.

    Thanks for the help and advice (regarding SSL etc). Site isn’t released yet so will have the certificate and all properly tagged up when we’re live.

    I’ll try 1.1.1 and report back if any issues.
