 * How can I show videos in my theme without using plugin?
 * I would like to show videos or link to youtube without have to install a plugin.
   Is it possible?

 * Just use the YouTube “`<embed>`” code.
    It is shown on every YouTube page when
   you click the “`<embed>`“-button just below the video.

 * Thanks.. with <embed> ok.. but I would like something as shortcode or a function
   in functions.php
 * The Idea is that:
 * I will define an area in my theme where the video will be shown. I would like
   to easily (for example) copy and paste a youtube link in a post and the video
   would be shown in my predefined area.
