Video Slider

    Hello!
    I could use some help with the slider of my (free) Business Elite theme.
    I would like to put a video up there, but I don’t succeed.

    I tried like this:
    Customize > Slider > Slider-Images
    I click Update Image and I both tried to upload a mp4 file from my computer and to insert media with a YouTube URL. Then I click Insert into Post and then Save.
    Unfortunately the video does not show. The slider part just turns black.

    Can somebody please explain to me how I can use a video in my slider or header?

    @danielle,

    The slider is designed only for adding images and not videos. Please install a Slider plugin for this purpose. Thank you.

    I installed the Slider WD plugin,
    but I still don’t see how I can upload a video.
    Could you explain to me?

    Danielle,

    Only Pro version of Slider WD has support for videos and those from only YouTube or Vimeo. Or you can add video as a layer over the slider but again with Pro version.

    Once you do install the pro plugin of WD Slider, how do you tell the slider to over lay on the default slider in the homepage?

    @beartato327,

    You can disable the slider from theme options and add php code of the slider available in slider listing to the homepage php file.
