Video Size does not work

    Hello,

    Since some days ago, when I insert a video from youtube via html It always appears on the post in the biggest size, in spite of I had configured it before smaller (quite smaller!!).

    I tried it in some ways: changing the video, changing the post, changing the html code format….but it remains big.

    For example, on the next post, the configurated size for the video is width=”420″ height=”315″:

    Why do you think it happens? How could I fix it??

    Hi Eduard,

    This is a bit of a shot in the dark, as you appear to have the video formatted correctly. I haven’t gone through your style sheet completely, but can you try removing or better yet commenting out the portion that reads:

    .ie embed {
	width: 100%;
}

    and see if that solves the issue?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your interest.
    I removed the portion (I didn’t understand what do you want to say with commenting out the portion), but everything continues still the same.

    It’s strange, because it didn’t happen some weeks ago. Last days I installed some plugins (WordPress SEO, gtrans, WordPress related posts) and I changed my header image and background colour. Do you think some of that could cause it?

    It could be, try deactivating recently installed plugins one by one and see if it fixes the issue.

    I deactivated the new plugins, but at the moment everything keeps the same. Maybe in a few minutes…

    Anyway, I noted that while the page is opening I can see a fast flash of the video in the correct size for some miliseconds, and after that it goes bigger….

    Finally I installed this plugin and now it looks everything works well:

    Anyway, If I don’t use the plugin the videos continue resizing like before..
