Hi, I’m working on a site for a client, and since both self-hosted videos and photos should appear in a lightbox, Shadowbox js seemed by far the most promising (if not the only) solution.

Now I’m running up against a wall: No matter how the shadowbox’ size is declared inside the rel tag, it always has white borders. I’ve changed every CSS rule I could think of, as well as switching the shadowbox settings. (BTW the generic video size is set to 884x496px, which is the size of the test video.)

This is Windows: while on Mac OS everything works fine (no visible borders), on Windows XP in Firefox and IE8 the borders show. The client reported the same on Windows 7 in Firefox.

Here are four links on the development site:

You may have to scroll down a bit to the photo; that’s where the link is. If you need more information, screenshots etc., please let me know.

I’d be more than happy to admit my infinite stupidity and grovel before you, if you could give me a hint as to how to fix this. Thanks!
    🙂

Hi Matt, glad to see you’re active again in the support forum! Maybe you could have a look at my problem, too?
    Thanks!
