The page works correctly with the Minimaze Lite theme correctly when the Your Channel short code is placed in the Gutenberg Short Code Block.

I want to use the Generate Theme (free) theme but NOTHING shows up from the short code. I had to switch back to the Minimaze theme for the time being.

There’s a whole bunch of code that looks like it is part of the plugin. Not sure if there’s a JS script issue or a CSS interference…? Any suggestions?

NOTE: currently page is using Minimaze Lite theme. Couldn’t leave it broken.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, please switch to the Generate theme, I’ll be online if you do it in the next few hours.

Are you going to be around in the next few hours @pluginbuilders ?

I’ll switch the theme over for the afternoon. Thanks very much!

    Oh that’s the GeneratePress theme.

The theme’s not loading jQuery, so you have to do it. See this post in their forums.

    Fantastic! Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, one of the reasons I wanted to switch was speed. I hope I can load jq only on that one page.

Additional note… That link suggested, if I understand correctly, that the plugin should be loading jquery itself. That makes sense to me.
Is there some reason it doesn’t do that?

Yes they seem to be saying so but the vast majority of WordPress plugins and themes require jQuery and we probably just assumed jQuery’d already be loaded. May be we should perform a check for that ourselves from the next version.

    Ah, I see.
Reasonable assumption, but yes, would be good to have that check included, for themes like GP or other plugins. At least it should be a pre-requisite check done.

Preferably, loading only on pages that actually have the plugin of course. 🙂

Anyway, thanks again for very quickly pointing me to the solution!
