Video Embed Performance Issues

Hi, I’m using the Avada theme. Great theme design but support is a challenge. I just added short-code to my home page that displays recent posts. Those posts are all video files using the following embed code:

I’ve noticed a huge performance hit to my site. Seems like about 2 extra seconds to load per video. Any thoughts on how to improve performance? I have CDM deployed…guess that doesn’t really matter since the videos are really stored elsewhere.

Even a workaround where the videos load after the header content and slider would help.
