# vflex responsive theme – template missing? can't create child.

 * Hello,
 * I have activated the vflex responsive theme (a free theme) – it seems to work
   fine but i get a message at the bottom of the wordpress themes screen saying:
   **
   Broken Themes** The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must
   have a stylesheet and a template. Name: vFlex Responsive theme Description: Template
   is missing.
 * But it all seems to look fine in the preview.
 * Then when i try and create a child theme for the vflex responsive theme i get
   this message: The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.
 * And twenty fourteen is activated instead.
 * Any advice would be fantastic!
 * Thank you.

 * I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support
   from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded
   from wordpress.org here.
