Support » Plugin: GEO my WordPress » Very Testy with poor documentation

  • This program is incredibly testy, requiring very specific usage of hidden variables and functions just to do basic functions on the front end. The documentation is maybe 15 pages, 10 of which are useful and 5 of which are extremely case specific for random plugins. There’s no general function reference, or variable name layout in case you need to access any information, it’s just “use the shortcodes or f— off.”

Then whenever an update comes be ready to completely recode your entire website from scratch because they don’t care whatsoever about being backwards compatable. Folder names get changed, functions get changed, classes get changed, and brand new CSS is injected just to give you more headaches. I guess you can languish in your insecure, unsupported old version, though.

I learned my lesson the hard way, don’t use this plugin.
