Hey there,

we have a large WordPress site with multiple thousand posts and pages.
I experience really slow search queries with this plugin activated (roughly 10s sometimes) compared to having this deactivated (~0.4s).

Is there anything that can be optimized? Does it help putting an index on some columns? Maybe the SQL Query isn’t written in an efficient way?

Hi @3qbik,

The problem stems from WP architecture, which is composed of a small number of tables. The query is maximally optimized to achieve all features.

Try using Lite mode.

Hi @mateuszgbiorczyk,

thanks for your effort! For this particular client, we have decided to use SearchWP. But I’ll test your plugin again and hope it’s a good option for other smaller projects of us.
