This is a very useful plugin for those who can make a static archive copy of a site no longer mantained withour the need to have a running WordPress anymore.

But when trying to build it, it should be explained in the FAQs what is explained on this page: http://en.staticpress.net/static-setting/

set here like “/var/www/html” and set Static URL like “http://www.example.com/static/”, the files are output under “/var/www/html/static”.

Or else you’ll become crazy with some files under http://www.example.com/static/static and other poiting out to http://www.example.com/static/

That config is not very intuitive!

And, BTW, it would be extremely useful if a .htaccess file was generated by the plugin so the WordPress URLs could be redirected to the static HTMLs created.
