    Proudly announces after a few days that it has been running but now needs to be upgraded to pro for automated tasks. Just seems like another bait and switch backup app that has the privilege of being installed by the script installer of the same maker.

    Hello,

    We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    So the thing is, upgrading to pro is just a promo. There is no compulsion to upgrade. The version you are using will work even if you don’t upgrade to Pro.
    There are some specific features one of which you mentioned like automated backups and some more of them are only available for Pro users. And automated backup was never a part of the free version.
