Shame that this is going to be discontinued. Have been searching far and wide for a similarly simple and effective plugin, to no avail. Not even with the WP Popup that is supposed to replace this one.

One thing I am missing in *every* plugin is a playful option to display – in stead of a boring box – perhaps a vector clip art figure. Not a box with a clip art in it, but the irregular shaped clip art itself (or a *fully* transparent box with a clip art in it).

On my motor home site, I would use a ‘happy’ motor home clip to welcome new readers, and perhaps a filling station to incite readers to donate diesel by viewing the ads.
