No bloat or virus issues like other security software on wordpress. Recommended by my hosts due to previous hacking issues when I hosted my own websites – still using free-version on 6 sites but will upgrade and get and account because the extra options, including the wordfence console and login protect plus the premium enhancements make this a good move. So far – no intrusions or hacks (2 years – approx).

Thanks for your 5-star review and excellent feedback @safcomms!

It’s great to hear Wordfence getting recommendations from hosts and in-turn the customers who start using it to secure their sites. We believe that the entire WordPress community deserves top quality security regardless of budget and are thankful that you’d consider upgrading based on your experience with the free plugin.

Our Threat Intelligence team work hard, in many cases with bug bounty researchers, to identify security issues and collaborate with plugin vendors to bring patches that help make WordPress a safer place. In turn, having a comprehensive database of patched/unpatched issues and malicious IPs work with our other features to alert site administrators when an issue needs some attention. We’re pleased to hear your site has been trouble-free as a result of your own vigilance and Wordfence keeping an eye on things for you day-to-day.

    All the best going forward,
    Peter.
