• I like how I can enable highlighting but disable copying through CTRL + C by turning off “Disable Content Copy” and turning on everything else in the “Images and Content” section.

The other cool thing is how if you’re logged in as an administrator, you can still do everything that was disabled. So it only affects people who visit the site and people who are not a specific User Role. You can even select which Roles will have the disabled settings!

This plugin is almost perfect for my Woocommerce store, and I am very happy with it. I like that I am using it together with the other “Block AI Crawlers” plugin (I mentioned your plugin in my review for that one, by the way). It is nice to know that my content including photos and media added by customers, are much less likely to be saved down. It is also nice that source peeking is disabled as I replaced my very clean hand-coded site with WordPress and Woocommerce, and would rather not have WordPress’ messy coding to be shown to anyone who wants to peek. I also like hiding messy WordPress image URLs.

I said this plugin is “almost perfect” for me because as I was testing all sorts of ways to grab content when logged out, I found out that it is still possible to drag an image to the browser’s URL bar and see the image’s URL, and then directly visit the file from there and save it down. 🙁 I’d rather not enable hotlink protection and also hotlink protection might not work fully depending on cache and likely won’t work for this case. Plus I like to be able to directly share images via URL pasting. You already did a great job with providing this plugin for free, and I hope you would not mind this: but would you be able to work on disabling dragging stuff to the address bar?

And of course, this one might get complicated but it crossed my mind so I want to mention it: the other workaround against disabled content is taking a screenshot of the image or page, which probably can’t be prevented and maybe doesn’t need to be. But I just think of how paid YouTube movies disallow you to screen capture the video and I wondered if something similar could be done for certain images (like customer-uploaded files only) but enabled with other images on my site (like listing images, which I don’t mind being screen captured). It might get complicated, but it’s on my mind and might be something to think about. Or something like you can enable and disable whether screen capture or video recording can or cannot capture. Some things are fine being in an OBS-recorded video but not as a screenshot. Again, this is probably very complicated and maybe it might not be fair to your resources and time for a free plugin, but I hope this is still interesting and helpful feedback.

I at least would like to see the option to disable dragging images to the URL bar. But yes, I am already very happy with this plugin and I didn’t realize disabling all sorts of things but still enabling highlighting and pasting, was ever an option. I am grateful for your plugin, and thank you for sharing it!
