• Hi,

I was an early beta-tester for this plugin – it has worked great from the get-go.

When WordPress cropped the images on it’s own, my users would end up with some weird, not-very-nice, poorly cropped pictures on their posts.

With this plugin, images are automatically resized – in their entirety – with any unused portion of the image filled in with a background color, as the images are uploaded. So instead of some poorly positioned crop, the whole picture is used, but with a standard, across the board, size, so all the images appear correctly in each post.

Anyway – if you need this functionality, you’ll know what I mean. This plugin has work very well from the get go. Set it and forget it 🙂

    Hello,
To be honest I am a bit confused as to how to use the plugin. I installed it, activated it, enabled it, and changed my background color. How do I use it now? Any help is truly appreciated.
    Thank you

    Hi t6233,

Just upload an image using the media upload link and it will resize it on the fly.

    Hi Chris,
That makes sense now but I am getting this message when I try to upload images:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 133955584) (tried to allocate 39996 bytes) in /home/american/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jresizr/jresizr.php on line 176

Any recommendations? Should I contact my hosting provider?

I’m not sure, I haven’t had that happen.

Was is a really large (file size) image you were uploading? Does it work if you try something smaller?

It’s not working either way. I’d really like to use this plugin but am not sure what to do. I am also far from my memory limit. Any ideas? Or is there a plugin with a similar function?

Sorry, I don’t know of any others like this. Wish I knew how to help you more…
