I propose to add these features:
-make the table showing all documents responsive so that it shows each download details appropriately when browsing the website using a mobile device.
-preview for PDF documents is not working : I installed the curl lib
-instead of showing an icon of PDF document, it is more valuable to show a thumbnail of the first page of the document
-when versioning desactivated, all related information have to be hided in the showed menu.
-even the menu has to be configurable (show/hide every item)
-rating for a given document have to be accepted only from users that have already either downloaded or viewed the document. If the user want to change its rate, old rate have to be deleted to not impact the general rating.
-rating link could be hided from the document grid list and viewed only after viewing or dowloading the document. plugin can also send an email to incite the downloader to rate the document. Some fidelity points could be accorded to the user making rate
-make pdf files searchable by their content from the search form
-add statistics for number of document views (there is plugins which do it) so just use their shortcode.
-when clicking on the document icon/thumnail, navigate to the post details directly.
-since some security plugins blocks non admin users to acess the wordpress admin panel, a form permitting to manage documents for non admin accounts is very useful
-the length of title have to be controlled because long titles impact the grid view.
-ajaxified filtering of documents list (by custom taxonomies/terms or post meta data) is very useful.
-moderation of files added by non admin users is needed.

    Good continuation.

Wow, thanks for the input I will add these to the feature request list and try to get to them as quick as possible.

Some of you comments are issues you have having and you head over to support and open a ticket to handle them e.g. ( preview not working.)

Once again thanks for your suggestions they all make perfect sense.
